SUNSHINE FUND

FOUNDED BY UGA PARENTS IN 2020

The Sunshine Fund was created to support the mental well-being of UGA Students. Money from the Sunshine Fund is awarded to students to assist them in paying for mental health services, and/or to mitigate circumstances that may be impacting their well-being negatively.

ELIGIBILITY

Students receiving the Sunshine Fund must be currently enrolled in classes at the University of Georgia for the term that they are requesting aid. While we attempt to support as many students as possible, we may not be able to grant every request.

CONTACT

Students who may be interested in learning more about the funding are encouraged to contact a case manager in Student Care and Outreach to discuss the full scope of their needs. In doing so, students will learn about their eligibility for funding as well as other resources and networks of support that may be helpful to them.

PRIVATE DONATIONS

The Sunshine Fund is made possible by the generosity of private donations. If you are interested in supporting the Sunshine Fund, please contact Steve Pitts. You can also visit https://give.uga.edu/sunshinefund to donate now.
